BlogShop

Back in February, I was part of this amazing workshop called Blogshop. It was a photoshop class geared towards bloggers (Crazy: that’s me!!!). I had tried signing up for the 2012 class but it was sold out. Once they rolled out their 2013 NYC dates I was very excited but found out I was too late to sign up. It showed- SOLD OUT once again. I emailed (I never do this). I received a reply the next day saying that they had a glitch on their website and that it was still available. Kismet! I signed up while in queue to vote for Obama (am I not supposed to disclose this? There aren’t any secrets amongst friends!).
The space where the workshop was held in February was very vintage and quirky. It was in a Brooklyn area that was somewhat industrial.

I enjoyed the workshop. The most valuable lesson I learned was that this technology thing may be intimidating at first. Once you jump in, it’s easy as pie. All it takes is lots a practice and hard work. If you love it- you will do it and it will not be “work”. Life’s path? Perhaps.

It was great being surrounded by a whole group of inspiring and creative women. The cherry on top was definitely being in a neighborhood and environment that oozed creativity. Just walking to the studio- you just knew that creativity was at work.

What is meant to be will fall into your lap… All that is left is for you to be open to accepting it.
